In this video, four UtiliTrak linear guides are being used to lift and lower a gurney in and out of an ambulance with little physical effort by medical staff. How does it work? The gurney hooks to a carriage plate at each side of the stretcher. Once locked in place, the system can lift or lower a patient weighing up to 600 lbs.
